Trestle (“we,” “us”) provides an AI strategy thought partner. This policy explains what we collect when you use trestle.expert, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account data. Name, email, and authentication identifiers handled by Clerk.
Billing data. Subscription tier, billing status, and payment metadata handled by Stripe. We never store card numbers.
Conversation content. Messages you send and responses Trestle returns, stored so you can resume past sessions.
Operational logs. Minimal request logs used to keep the service running and debug failures.

How we use it

To deliver the product — routing questions, generating responses, and preserving your conversation history.
To administer your account and subscription.
To improve reliability and diagnose issues.
To communicate with you about your account or material product changes.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your conversation content to train third-party foundation models.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of processors who handle data on our behalf:

Anthropic — model inference for strategy responses.
Clerk — authentication and identity.
Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
Netlify — hosting and edge delivery.

Data retention

We keep conversation history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your conversation content within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email privacy@trestle.expert and we'll respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to personnel who need it. No system is perfectly secure — if we detect a breach that affects you, we will notify you promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
